Today in My Western Civ class I was talked to about how to act when my teacher was absent.  Mr. Schick who is my Western Civ teacher is going to be out of class for the next two weeks due to some kind of surgery, he did not discuss what the surgery was for but said that we had to do our blogs to get an easy 80 points out of them.  He said that if we are let out early that we should take pictures of the pages so that we can work on them at home h e then bid us a due and sent us to lunch.

The Roman Empire started in 509 B.C. with starting as a Republic for the first time in the Roman Empire.  Chandragupta Maurya founds Mauryan empire in India in 321 B.C.  In 264 B.C. the first Punic War begins.  In 218 B.C the second Punic War begins with Hannibal invades Italy.   In 202 B.C. the Han Dynasty takes power in China.   In 31 B.C. This marks the end for important events in the B.C. part of history. This marks the beginning of the A.D. part of History.   In 100 A.D. the Moche culture arises in South America.   In 284 A.D. Diocletian becomes emperor of Rome.   In A.D. Aksum kingdom emerges in east Africa.   In A.D. western Roman Empire falls.

Today in my Western Civ class I took a test on Ancient Greece, on the test there where many multiple choice questions, there other questions that were also multiple choice questions but asked Who Am I then gave us a statement, and also some answers.  That was about the whole basis of the test.

Today in my Western Civ class we listened to my teacher Mr. Schick talk about how homer started plays and where the plays where hosted, we also started to talk about how the Spartans beat Athens in the Peloponnesian war from the help of the Plague that wiped out a fourth of Athens population and even killed Athens king and his two sons, the plan to beat Athens was to starve them out with loss of materials and loss of reinforcements.   We also had a shadow in class today and Mr. Schick assured the shadow that this is not what he normally does but has more interactive classes rather then having him talk in front of the class all day and have us take notes.
