Today in my Western Civilization class my class and I studied/reviewed how the Government came to be in a PowerPoint presented to us by our teacher.  Today was also the first day of seeing Mr. Schick since his surgery, he looked to be in good health and was, as always in a cheery mood. 

We studied things such as the executive, judicial, and legislative branch of the government.  The American Government is taken almost exactly from the previous Roman one.   A strong military leader was chosen as the head of the Executive Branch, it has since been more career politicians.  The Legislative Branch was made up of Senators that came from wealthy individuals or families / backgrounds, not much has changed since then as it’s pretty much the same today.  The Judicial Branch spoke more, as it does now, for the common man.
